My girls are so excited about Halloween and they have picked out carefully each costume. I even had to plan a business trip around the day because dressing up is very special to them. My middle one usually chooses boy costumes but this year, she did select a Pink Power Ranger costume and my youngest decided to be Brave's Merida. I would have thought my redhead would have chosen that one! I know some folks don't celebrate Halloween but I don't look at it from any type of religious standpoint rather just a day for kids to have fun dressing up.
October is a busy month for us with many, many birthdays. This gives the girls a treat as in two weeks, we will be celebrating my grand daughter's second birthday and since it's a cowgirl theme, they have more costumes coming! This will be such a treat for them as they have no idea I'm renting a pony for a couple of hours. My oldest, who is 24, has been busy planning the big day and I dare say, she got her knack of party planning for me. I know this will spill over as a tradition with all my girls as they are big time in celebrating the holidays and birthdays.
