Embracing a Healthy Family: Halloween is Almost Here with Brave & Pink Power Rangers

Halloween is Almost Here with Brave & Pink Power Rangers

My girls are so excited about Halloween and they have picked out carefully each costume.  I even had to plan a business trip around the day because dressing up is very special to them.  My middle one usually chooses boy costumes but this year, she did select a Pink Power Ranger costume and my youngest decided to be Brave's Merida.  I would have thought my redhead would have chosen that one!  I know some folks don't celebrate Halloween but I don't look at it from any type of religious standpoint rather just a day for kids to have fun dressing up.

October is a busy month for us with many, many birthdays.  This gives the girls a treat as in two weeks, we will be celebrating my grand daughter's second birthday and since it's a cowgirl theme, they have more costumes coming!  This will be such a treat for them as they have no idea I'm renting a pony for a couple of hours.  My oldest, who is 24, has been busy planning the big day and I dare say, she got her knack of party planning for me.  I know this will spill over as a tradition with all my girls as they are big time in celebrating the holidays and birthdays.

How cute! I love the wigs for little girls. I would have gone crazy for these when I was little! Glad my little girl gets to experience the fun of dressing up now.

The funny thing is my 24 year old was the red power Ranger when she was a little girl! I agree with the dress up. I can't imagine how much fun I would have had!

My four year old wants to be a unicorn. Such a change from the elephant toddler costume she wore last year! :P

Very cute, still haven't seen that movie. But I have heard good things, she looks almost like her. My son is going to be a G.I.Joe, and my two year old we found a strawberry fairy costume, my six month old is either going to be a baby cow or lady bug. I haven't decided, they are her big sisters old costumes.

I loved them too, Krystal!

Spacegirl91377, we go early to make sure they don't run out. This year, we bought too early and missed the sales!

My girls love to dress up! Good idea Jamie on getting them after Halloween for future dress ups!

My middle one loves the Power Rangers, Denise! :)

I agree, Megan, the Merida is so cute!

A unicorn, how cute, Charychild!

MomofTwo, Merida was good but I still favor Tangled! :)
