Embracing a Healthy Family: Our Jane Austen Inspired Thanksgiving Dinner Party

Our Jane Austen Inspired Thanksgiving Dinner Party

My youngest has become a huge fan of Jane Austen particularly with the dresses.  So this year, we decided to change things up and have a Jane Austen Thanksgiving themed dinner.  Although I wasn't true to form on what Jane and her family might have had for dinner and dessert, we played around a bit.  I purchased the above locket and book off of Etsy and I have to say that even though the locket is not high quality, it's very nice and my daughter loves it!  No dinner can be complete without the look and here is her dress along with her sister and niece who are wearing handmade dresses:

If you love the regency dress as much as we do, you can contact Taylor Made with Love Inspired by Zoe as she made the beautiful dress.

For our dinner preparation, I had the following items made:

Jane Austen Wine Charms

Jane Austen Paper Plates

Jane Austen Brownies

Jane Austen Cake Pops

Jane Austen Pillow
I didn't go to the same level of making other items as I normally would but overall, it turned out pretty well. I printed the menu cards with my HP Printer.

I ordered the cake and brownie images Sweet Nothing Images on Etsy.  She was a wonderful seller and easily accommodated various requests.

My oldest made the cookies and I used the wrong picture since she spelled Nobley wrong but Dani didn't notice.
