July is National Hot Dog Month with Udi's Gluten-Free Hot Dog Buns

I know July is almost over but that doesn't mean you can't carry over National Hot Dog month into August because anytime is a good time for a hot dog!  My girls and I love hot dogs and corn dogs.  Granted my little one takes off the corn shell from corn dogs so I might as well just keep giving her hot dogs, right?  If you are one of the many who are gluten intolerant then you must check out Udi's Gluten-Free foods.  Not only do they have Gluten-free hot dog buns but they have a variety of other products too.

• Breads, Rolls & Buns
• Bagels
• Cookies & Brownies
• Granola
• Muffins and Cinnamon Rolls
• Pizza & Crust

Since I live in the middle of nowhere, the hot dog buns I received were stale but I did get to taste the flavor and it was good.  To me, I could not tell the difference with not having gluten in the mix.  I was able to better taste test the Snickerdoodles, Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, Soft and Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies and the Dark Chocolate Brownie Bites with my two girls and the verdict was:  YUMMMMY!  The girls' favorites were the Soft and Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies and the Dark Chocolate Brownie Bites.  I liked them all but my favorite were the Oatmeal Raisin Cookies.  They all had great flavor, a nice texture and were not lacking any flavor due to being gluten-free.  I also liked that they are soy free and contain no preservatives or GMOs!   We are definitely Udi fans!


According to Udi's Gluten Free Foods, they are the "#1 gluten free baked goods brand, revolutionized the category when it introduced the first gluten-free bread that tastes and looks like “real” bread."


Overall, our family would recommend the products we have tried.  There wasn't one product we disliked.  So as you eat your final hot dog of July, remember that August is another reason to still act like it's July!


If you aren't familiar with Udi, they have recipes, a store locator and since they are at 150 Walmart stores across the country, they should be easy to find!

• Modular containers snap together in to save space in your lunch bag.  They are nice and they really do stay together.
• The kit includes specially designed Blue Ice™ pack that works with LunchBlox containers to keep lunches chilled on the go.  This is a nice perk of the kit.
• Containers are perfectly portioned for lunch foods commonly carried away from home thus making it quicker and less messy to bring along what you might really want.
• They are microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe and not to forget, they are BPA-free.
• The Sandwich Kit includes a sandwich container sized for regular and specialty breads, two snack containers (perfect for yogurt or nuts) and a snack container (perfect for fruits, vegetables, dips and chips)

This is really the ideal lunch kit for those that send their kids to school with a lunch and even us adults that like to take our lunches or have to take our lunches.  They don't leak, they are small and stack-able and are perfect in just about every lunch bag.

OutMyWindow: New Photo Sharing Service

I love to take pictures and I love to share them as well.  I have a couple of extra hard drives holding pictures along with too many photo albums and boxes.  When I share my photos, I don't necessarily want everyone to see them.  Now, I don't have to worry about it because I'm using  OutMyWindow™  to share with my family and friends.  It's also available on iTunes.  It's a free service up to 5 GB of storage which is a lot of photos.  It's a very easy process once you create your account:

• Add friends and family by inviting them.
• Add photos to make an album.
• Link your account to Facebook to upload existing albums.

It creates this nice timeline feature on your page so when your family and friends visit, they can see.

It's very easy to use and since it's free, you can't beat that!  It's a great way to securely share pictures without worrying about someone seeing them that you may not want.
