Guria Beachwear Brazilian Swimwear Review, Discount Code and Giveaway 6/3

It's getting closer to summer and I cannot wait!  I am a sun person and love to lay out in the sun.  I also travel sometimes a lot and want to take to the beach or pool.  One of the problems I have with bathing suits, especially bikinis, are the tops are never big enough.  I know, wahhh, right?  Actually, for us women who are top heavy, not all of us want to flaunt it which is why finding the perfect large busted swimwear is hard.  When I was given the opportunity to review a suit from Guria Beachwear, I was definitely interested after looking at the selection of swimwear.  Guria Beachwear specializes in Brazilian swimsuits.

  

Guria is slang for girl in south Brazilian slang.  Guria Beachwear was started in 2007 and includes a selection of sophisticated and body-flattering styles to fit all body sizes and shapes.  Given how women vary from top to bottom, Guria Beachwear provides separate tops and bottoms to ensure the most beautiful fit.  They also offer products that provide versatility such as the 3-in-1 top, a reversible padded bandeau and added accents like silver and gold plated (14k gold) hardware for that trendy, fashionable look.  The bikinis come in a variety of styles and colors.

 

For my review, I received the Moonlight 3-in-1 Chic Top and the Foldover Bottoms.  The top truly fit as I wanted it to and provided full coverage without top areas hanging over.  The bottoms were perfect with the foldover section as those of us with a C-section can appreciate that.  The material is thick, soft and comfortable.  The accents on the Chic Top add to the elegance of the suit and provided perfect coverage since it's fully lined.  What I also like are the cups are removable as with other suits, they shift making the top a little unsightly.  The bottom allows you to wear it low or higher pending personal preference and provides a slimming quality.  I was extremely pleased with the quality and the coverage and would definitely recommend.  Since they come in sizes ranging from 0 to x-large, they have most everyone covered.

The Complete Idiot's Guide to Couponing Review & Giveaway 5/26 (US & Canada)

I have used coupons in the past and use them hit or miss now.  I sort of gave up on them because of the push back I get when I use them primarily at Walmart.  When I lived in Georgia, I used them all the time at Publix because they were just friendly and didn't give you a hard time when you did present a stack of them.  Since I moved away and was frequently only shopping at Albertson's and Walmart, I stopped being so diligent.  I used to have these fun challenges with my oldest to see if we could walk away with at least a 50% savings and we always did at Publix.  If you watched that Extreme Couponing show, you might have had mixed feelings as I know I did.  I always thought how greedy they were by clearing shelves, taking all the in-store coupons and how they might ruin couponing once businesses started to see how they abused the system.  Fortunately, I will believe that the majority of couponers are honest and don't pull the antics you see on TV.  I think people watch those and want to save like they do and find it's too hard and give up.  There is a skill or a know how on how to achieve great savings which is where I was able to review The Complete Idiot's Guide to Couponing by Rachel Singer Gordon and compare how we did business.


This book is excellent for the beginning and the intermediate couponer.  Fortunately, I have had time to learn the in's and out's so the book reinforced that I was on target and who doesn't want to hear you have it spot on?  It's a basic, easy to follow book on how to get ready for using coupons, how to maximize your time and savings and how to move forward with the system.  There are four logical parts with sub chapters to easily find what you are looking for.  Not only are traditional shops covered but so are drug stores.  If you are a beginning, you can save a lot of money with drug store deals which Rachel covers thoroughly.  She also includes Head's Up and Tips and Tricks mixed in with the chapters to provide additional information.  She also covers blogs which are extreme time savers!  There are some pretty good bloggers who will provide match ups and tell you where the deals are with quick print links to coupons.  They really have made it easy to save big.


The biggest part to knowing where to get coupons and how to match them with deals is organization and Rachel covers that to include difficult situations such as lack of space.  It's a well put together book that will enable anyone to start couponing and saving money quickly.

We run here.  We run there.  We pay the bills.  We clean the house.  We take the children to the doctors and so much more.  Women today are busier than ever as more and more are stacked on our plates. Finding short cuts is essential to balance all that we have to do while staying sane.  Creating these little efficiencies add up after time.  I like to have a clean house but I do suffer from clutter because I'm just not good with throwing things away.  


I would have been perfect living during the Great Depression because they saved everything.  I know I wished I was inspired to clean as my grandmother did but I'm not.  This is one big place that I look for time savers and doing dishes is no exception.  I received a compliment Dawn® Power Clean™ kit to try out first hand and I can say, it works.  In just as little as five minutes, dishes come clean as if you left them overnight to soak.

Granted, sometimes leaving them to soak is one of those steps that allows you to feel you did something and you can walk away but it's not always the best way to get that task finished.  This is why I definitely will purchase Dawn® Power Clean™ when I run out of my current bottle.  Dawn® is a brand I trust and have used over the years but I've not experienced a dish detergent that actually worked so well right off the bat.  This may seem like a small step but this one task definitely saves me time as I don't want to spend a long time cleaning dishes.  I am always looking for ways to cut down on my household tasks.  


Some of my tips include:

• Purchasing one of those floor cleaners that vaccuum, wash and dry all in one.  I just did that and love it!  It helps to make the task of washing the floor less cumbersome.
• I sort my garbage by recyclables in one container and regular garbage in another for fast waste removal.
• When I run the dishwasher, I always throw the dish sponge in the wash to ensure it stays clean and contains less bacteria thus releasing me from the task of bleaching and cleaning separately. 
• When I use the oven, I always line the pan or sheet with aluminum foil to ease the cleaning process.  Efficient or lazy?  Not sure but it helps!

Check Out Funny Kilt Featurette from Disney * Pixar's Brave

I'm already a huge fan of Disney and Pixar but when they release a movie that has a read head, I'm there!  My nine year is a red head so I'm partial to them and I know she loves watches movies with red heads too.  Brave is expected to be out in theaters everywhere June 22nd so we cannot wait!  Emma Thompson and Billy Connoly who are also enjoyed in my house are two of the voices.


The story is about a Merida who is a skilled archer and is the daughter of Thompson and Connoly who are queen and king.  Merida is granted a wish and all fury erupts forcing her to discover the true meaning of bravery.  I can't tell you more than that can I?  Check out the funny featurette below and let me know what you think.  I'm suspecting it will be yet another winner and added to our collection of movies once released!
