Pillsbury Crescent Rolls & Sneaky Eating Ideas for Kids

I finally figured out how to get my children to eat better food.  I let them cook and pick out recipes.  They have their little chef outfits and aprons from Flirty Aprons so they are already to go.  With Pillsbury, I can have them create quick and easy meals without all the fuss and mess.

This little sneaky trick allows them to use Pillsbury Crescent rolls, fresh vegetables, pizza sauce and cheese to make pizza pockets.  They have so much fun "painting" the sauce and olive oil that they don't realize there is a bit of healthiness involved.

I think our next feat will be to plan a menu for a dinner where they choose the items and help pick out the fruit and vegetables in the store.  Followed up by helping to cook, they might be more inclined to eat it.

We'll see!

Snoopy Invitations in Blue or Pink

My girls had their birthday party and I had to make their invitations as it's almost impossible to find Snoopy themed invitations that are customized.  I went with these but had a hard choice with colors.  I ended up choosing blue to coordinate with their outfits.

They were easy to make with my Microsoft Digital Image Suite. I copied and pasted the images, added other clipart to get the designs I wanted and printed on light cardstock paper for durability.  What is not shown is I placed rhinestone stickers to add a little blingness to them.

We had a great party and the girls have wonderful memories!

Journals Unlimited Review

Journals are always a nice way to preserve memories whether you want to record such events like your weight loss endeavor, every day thoughts, devotionals, memories from a loved one or so many other reasons.  Journals have been around for as long as we've been writing.  They are excellent tools to capture those moments and most likely, you had at least one journal in your life whether it be a diary or something else.  I like journals and enjoy the new selections available.  I received a complimentary journal from Journals Unlimited from their Write it Down series.

I liked the high quality of the Journals Unlimited journals and the durability will ensure they will last a lifetime and beyond.  I would recommend these to encourage others to capture their thoughts, to give as gifts to loved ones and just to capture memories you might want to pass down to your children.  There is a journal for so many different themes that anyone on your gift list to include yourself are covered.
